Fireproof Studios is a full service recording studio, owned and operated by artist/mix engineer Jared Yampiro (J-Why).
J-Why, a Long Island native, is the CEO and founder of Fireproof Studios. His passion for music was evident as early as 15 years old, when he started taking his free time to write his own raps while studying the top artists and studying industry trends. He took his drive and talent to the West Coast, where he attended The Los Angeles Film and Recording School, graduating in 2014 with an Associates Of Science In Recording Arts. In addition to producing, he has maintained a solo career in L.A. venues and works as a freelance recording artist. When the pandemic shut down live performing and made operations difficult for artists, he worked to optimize his space: an intuitive and productive home studio with an atmosphere and environment in which people can feel in the zone to bring out their fullest potential. With his tools, knowledge, and god given nature, he enjoys working in collaboration with clients to bring their vision to life.
Recording Studios
Fireproof Studios is a well equipped, industry standard facility with 2 fully featured recording/production studios. An ambient and visually striking lounge space is provided to suit any of your session’s needs.
Studio A
Studio A is a state-of-the-art recording and post production studio with a large control room and a vocal isolation booth. Equipped with a powerhouse iMac workstation, Pro Tools mixing environment, 8″ JBL mains, as well as a full lounge area, Studio A is suitable for any session.

Studio B
In partnership with Swish Studios, Studio B at Fireproof consists of two floating rooms that cater to live tracking, production and writing teams, and is also perfect for sessions that require more of a lounge-type control room. Together with our main Studio A, Fireproof is able to meet any and all project needs and exceeds typical recording studio standards by noticeable factors. J-Why
Engineer / Owner
J-Why is a multi-talented entrepreneur who began as an independent recording artist. He then expanded on his natural gift with an ear for music and attended the Los Angeles Recording School where he graduated in 2014, receiving his degree of Science in the Recording Arts. Enjoying the role of taking lead in music production, Fireproof Studios was born.
